Ortenbourg Castle

Built in the town of Scherwiller between 1262 and 1265 for Rudolph of Habsburg, this is one of Alsace’s most important fortified castles. Remarkably well conserved and only accessible on foot, this protected natural environment offers a magnificent view over the plain of Alsace.
