Ingredients:
- 500 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 15 cl milk
- 80 g sugar
- 1 packet (7 g) dried baker's yeast
- 150 g butter
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- dried raisins or chocolate chips for decorating.
Preparation
- Mix everything together to make an elastic dough.
- Cover the dough with a cloth and, if possible, leave in a room with a temperature of around 25°C and leave to rise until it has doubled in size.
- Take balls of the dough and shape into gingerbread man like shapes using a kitchen knife.
- Use the dried raisins or chocolate chips to make the eyes.
- Let the dough stand for a short while before baking for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at about 180°C. When the Mannalas are golden brown, take them out of the oven.
Eat them cold for breakfast or at teatime!
