Sundgau is a calm, relaxing and decidedly gourmet area to visit. Don't miss out on its authentic dishes made from the best local produce. Around 30 Sundgau restaurant owners have joined forces in an Association called "Sundgau, Routes de la Carpe Frite", determined to promote the local traditions through their know-how and skill. The Fried Carp Route has been awarded the accolade of "Site Remarquable du Goût" (the same gourmet label as the famous Wine Route through the Alsace vineyards), granted by the National Council of Culinary Arts. A sign-posted trail marks the route through Sundgau. We hope you have an excellent trip and enjoy Sundgau's culinary delights.
