The fruit of an exception terroir

Thanks to their excellent geographical situation, the Alsatian vineyards produce Wines of Alsace with aromas that are acclaimed worldwide. Lush nature, a particularly favourable climate and the extraordinary geological diversity of the soils come together to produce an incomparable range of wines.

To preserve this rich diversity, the controlled designations of origin - the famous AOCs - impose strict and rigorous rules.

And you will also find this quest for authenticity in the Alsatian winegrowers’ attachment to nature and its protection: the first biodynamic vineyard in Alsace dates back to 1925!

Choose your grape variety

Whether your preference is light and dry or intense and full-bodied, there is plenty of choice with the seven Alsatian grape varieties !

Alsace’s famous sweet, liqueur-like late harvest and noble-rotted wines - Vendanges Tardives and Sélections de Grains Nobles - are a delight for lovers of complex, powerful wines!

As for Crémant d’Alsace, a delicately sparkling wine, it is produced by the traditional method with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The appeal of its fresh flavour and tiny, dancing bubbles has made this Crémant a firm favourite from aperitif to dessert.

51 Grands Crus, 51 outstanding wines

Alsace boasts 51 Grands Crus, reflecting the complexity and rich diversity of the Alsatian winegrowing region. They are all the produce of privileged terroirs where geology, climate and exposure come together in an exceptional harmony. Four grape varieties are allowed under the Grand Cru Appellations: Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer.

Each Grand Crus has its own geological identity conferring on it a particular intensity, subtle vibrations, a remarkable texture and aromas of infinite finesse.
