From Ribeauvillé to Ingersheim

In this part of the vineyards you will discover some of the most popular villages of the region. Dominated by the three castles of Ribeapierre, the typical town of ribeauvillé will enchant you with its numerous festivals, such as the picturesque "Filddlers' Festival" in early September. For those who like novelties, visit the fortified church and cimetery of Hunawhir or its stork center. While you wander round the narrow cobbled dtreets of Riquewhir, a magnificently preserved historic town, don't miss the Diligence Museum, the History Museum, the Post Office and Telecommunications Museum and the "Maison Hansi". Then you can move to the valley of the renaissance town Kaysersberg and the Alsace wine museum at Kientzheim.
