Gourmet Alsace > Alsace wine route > From Barr to Bergheim

In the shadow of numerous medieval castles such as the Landsberg and the Frankenbourg, your visit will lead you through the Barr region and its Folie Marco museum.
For those interested in legends and religious architecture, visit the abbey of Andlau, a pretty little village in the middle of three areas of “Grands Crus”. Then, after the small medieval wine town of Dambach-La-Ville, you will reach Kintzheim, with its eagles’ castle and mountain of monkeys. You will then start the climb towards the famous Haut-Koenigsbourg castle and then come back down to the medieval villages of Saint-Hippolyte, Rorschwihr and Bergheim.
