Gourmet Alsace > Alsace wine route > From Colmar to Wuenheim-Thann

Colmar, a town of art and history and the capital and heart of the Alsace vineyard, is worth a stop including a visit to the famous Unterlinden museum.
Then, you can discover the church tower with the twisted spire at Niedermorschwihr or the church tower door at Turckheim.
At Eguisheim, you can stroll through the medieval town built in three concentric circles around the castle. Husseren-les-châteaux, the highest point of the vineyard, offers you a magnificent view of Colmar and the surrounding vineyards from its three castles.
The terraced vineyards of Guebwiller and Thann will astound you with their spectacular slopes. At Thann, the southern gateway to the Alsace wine road, you can discover the Alsace “terroirs”.
You can continue your journey along the “Route des Crêtes”, which offers you another view of our region.
